Projections
I really like the idea of projections. So I would like to attempt this form of using multiple images. I first worked out that this was a good idea when Mr Nicholl's presented the idea in the form of a poppit.

The Popplet on my inital thoughts:
Lorie Novak
An artist which has got me really thinking about Multiple images and projections is Lorie Novak. My teacher first introduced her to me on a book called "Flesh & Blood" which features all sorts of photographers taking photographs of their families. Lorie Novak has pictures of projections of her family which is in the book. one of the photographs is called "The Barbecue" which, with the addition of a good camera angle and her original ideas (the projections). She creates really great photos which are good inspiration for my own photograph. Below is the picture of "The Barbecue"

She also has a really great website which gives you an insight on some of her previous works and projects. Even though it isn't a projection; I really admire the first picture you see on her website. It's a really original of a bundle of 'New York Time' newspapers all bundled together in one big pile. You can access the website in the picture below.

Example of Projections
Above is one of my personal favourite's of Lorie Novaks collection of photos. It's certainly one of the sort of things I want to do when I have a go at projections. What makes this photo stand out from any other projection is the way the photographer has decided to put an object at the foreground of the photo which isn't touched at all by the image from the projector. Which is unusual when putting it into perspective of other photographs which use projections. What I also like about the photo is how the bed plays a physical role in the photo, as you can see in the photo, the projection of the characters are smartly portrayed on to the top of the bed which makes this photo quite unique.
The band, the xx, use projections for their video 'Crystallised', the images are projected on to the screen whilst the band is playing. It was directed by Alex Flick and Masato Riesser.
